Christians in Minsk celebrate Easter

Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant believers attended Easter services in churches in Minsk on April 4 as the Eastern Orthodox Easter coincides with the Western Protestant Catholic Easter this year.

Speaking ahead of the central religious festival, Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz (pic. 1), Belarus’ top Roman Catholic priest, said, “The heaven itself tells us to unite. The fact that the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated by Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant believers on one day this year is a good sign and a great gift from God.”// BelaPAN.
