Vietnamese president to visit Belarus next week
The president of Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Triet, is expected to stay in Belarus on a state visit between May 12 and May 15, a source at the Vietnamese embassy told BelaPAN.
During the three-day visit, the Vietnamese president is to meet with Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Prime Minister Syarhey Sidorski.
Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhey Martynaw is expected to meet with his Vietnamese counterpart, who is to be among the officials accompanying the president.
Mr. Lukashenka paid a state visit to Vietnam in April 2008.
