Belarus, Syria, Venezuela sign declaration of cooperation

A declaration of cooperation between Belarus, Syria and Venezuela was signed in Syria this past weekend, BelaPAN said.

In accordance with the declaration, the three countries will carry out joint projects in the spheres of industrial manufacturing, energy, petrochemistry, transportation and agriculture, said the press office of the Belarusian foreign ministry.

The document was inked by Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Syarhey Aleynik and the foreign ministers of Syria and Venezuela, Valid al-Muallem and Valid al-Muallem respectively, as a result of their meeting held on November 6 and 7.

The meeting had been organized in pursuance of agreements reached at the high level to step up political contacts and economic cooperation, the press office said.
