Germany begins to restrict contacts with Belarusian government officials
Germany has begun to restrict contacts with Belarusian government officials.
The economy minister of the state of Bavaria has revoked the invitation that he extended to Belarusian Economy Minister Mikalay Snapkow to attend a conference in Munich, Markus Loning, the German federal government’s commissioner for human rights policy and humanitarian aid, told reporters in Minsk on Saturday.
According to Mr. Loning, the Bavarian minister has explained that owing to the recent events in Belarus, Mr. Snapkow’s presence is unwelcome. //BelaPAN
