Belarusbank lowers interest rates on loans for individuals
Belarusbank has lowered its interest rates on loans for individuals.
On March 28, the interest rates on consumer loans were lowered by two percentage points to range between 45 and 48 percent a year, said the press office of the country's largest bank.
The interest rates on loans for the construction or purchase of housing for individuals who are not on the government's waiting lists for better housing conditions were lowered by two percentage points to 47 percent, while the interest rates for individuals entitled to better housing conditions were lowered by one percentage point to 30 percent.
Individuals who permanently reside and work in rural areas and are registered as needing better housing conditions will be able to obtain 29-percent housing loans.
Housing loans for families with three or more children under 18 years of age that are on waiting lists for better housing conditions will carry an interest rate of 21 percent, a decrease of one percentage point, the press office said. //BelaPAN
