Polish art exhibition opens in Minsk

An exhibition of paintings and graphic drawings by Polish art students opened at the Palace of Art in Minsk on April 11, BelaPAN said. 

Organized with support from the University of Arts in Poznan and the Minsk-based Polish Institute, the exhibition features works by students at nearly all Polish art schools.

According to Piotr Kozakiewicz, director of the Polish Institute, Polish professors and curators of the Seventh Polish Student Biennale of Graphics had been invited to attend the opening ceremony for the exhibition.

"This is an unusual exhibition - the 96 exhibits by 67 artists were chosen out of a thousand submitted works. These are different techniques, different visions of the world," he said.

The exhibition will draw to a close on April 26.
