Lukashenka makes numerous government appointments
Alyaksandr Lukashenka made a number of government appointments on July 31.
According to the presidential press office, the head of state appointed:
--Anatol Sivakow as minister of transportation and supply lines;
--Aleh Paferaw as ambassador to Venezuela;
--Uladzimir Marozaw as chief of Belarusian Railroads;
--Alyaksandr Sukala as deputy chairman of the National Academy of Sciences;
--Andrey Hayew as director of the National Legal Information Center;
--Syarhey Simanenka as head of the main directorate for the planning and coordination of technical maintenance/first deputy chief of armament of the Belarusian Armed Forces;
--Syarhey Novikaw as head of the defense ministry's transportation support department.
The head of state also gave his consent to the appointment of:
--Andrey Charnenka as head of the Vetka District Executive Committee;
--Dzmitry Petrazhytski as head of the Loyew District Executive Committee;
--Dzmitry Kaleyew as head of the Bykhaw District Executive Committee;
--Syarhey Rumas as chairman of the board of the Development Bank of Belarus;
--Alyaksandr Arkhipaw as deputy prosecutor general;
--Aleh Lawrukhin as Minsk regional prosecutor;
--Syarhey Khmaruk as Minsk city prosecutor;
--Ivan Naskevich as Brest regional prosecutor;
--Syarhey Bervin as head of the Secretariat of the Council of the Republic;
--Uladzimir Archakow as a member of the Vitsyebsk Regional Executive Committee;
--Ihar Yawseyew as a member of the Vityebsk Regional Executive Committee;
--Anatol Tsyukaw as director general of elevator company RUP Mahilyowliftmash. //BelaPAN
