Reasons Belarus’ efforts regarding West are stuck are clear, Lukashenka says
The reasons Belarus’ efforts regarding the West are stuck are clear, “especially for the people sitting in this room,” Alyaksandr Lukashenka said Wednesday, speaking to officers of the foreign ministry.
“We by no means say that everything is perfect and fine in our country. By the way, not everything is perfect in their countries,” the Belarusian leader said. “We are ready to diligently learn what is new and modern, and not only from them, but we want to do this without being compelled, threatened and blackmailed. The psychology of our people is that they cannot be forced to skip over several stages of development and get to a happy democratic future. The logic of the development of all states in the world suggests a need for quiet, evolutionary and consistent development.” //BelaPAN
