Mobile operator Velcom raises charges
Velcom, Belarus’ second-largest mobile phone operator, on November 25 raised its subscription fees, call, messaging and other charges by eight percent on the average.
The operator previously raised its subscription fees and call rates on August 1, when they increased by seven to nine percent.
Founded in 1998, Velcom is currently entirely owned by the Telekom Austria Group. It reportedly has about five million subscribers. //BelaPAN
