Opera and ballet theater hosts Grand New Year's Ball
An event called the Grand New Year's Ball took place at the National Grand Opera and Ballet Theater in Minsk on the night between January 13 and 14.
Dressed in ball attire, guests danced to classical music, including famous Johann Strauss waltzes. A variety of other entertainment was on offer.
The event featured the theater's orchestra and the folk dance band Kharoshki, as well as opera soloists and ballet dancers.
