Deputy Prime Minister Prakapovich appointed head of inter-agency commission for WTO accession

Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Prakapovich has been appointed head of the Inter-agency Commission for Belarus' Accession to the World Trade Organization, reported the press office of the Council of Ministers.

By the same directive of the Council of Ministers, Deputy Foreign Minister Alyaksandr Huryanaw has been appointed deputy head of the Commission.

The Commission's meetings will also be attended by representatives of the finance, economy, trade, industry, justice and agriculture and ministries, the National Bank, the Development Bank of Belarus, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the State Customs Committee, the State Standardization Committee; the Belarusian State Food Concern (Beldzyarkharchpram), the Belarusian State Light Industry Concern (Bellehpram), the Belarusian State Petrochemical Industry Concern (Belnaftakhim), the Economics Institute of the National Academy of Sciences, Belarusian State Economic University, and the National Center for Intellectual Property.

The Inter-agency Commission for Belarus' Accession to the WTO was set up in 1999. //BelaPAN
