UN under-secretary-general visiting Belarus
UN Under-Secretary-General Yury Fedotov, who is executive director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, is to stay in Belarus on May 29 and 30, reported the press office of the Belarusian foreign ministry.
During the visit, Mr. Fedotov is expected to meet with top-ranking officials of the foreign and interior ministries, the General Prosecutor's Office and the State Border Committee to discuss the current state and development prospects of cooperation between Belarus and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
Mr. Fedotov is also expected to deliver a speech to students and faculty of the Department of International Relations at Belarusian State University, the press office said. //BelaPAN
