Russia's gas giant Gazprom to invest in construction of nitrogen fertilizer facility at Hrodna Azot
The Belarusian State Petrochemical Industry Concern (Belnaftakhim) and Russia’s OOO Gazprom Investproyekt have agreed to cooperate on matters relating to Gazprom's investment in the construction of a nitrogen fertilizer facility at AAT Hrodna Azot (chemical company in Hrodna), reported the Belnaftakhim press office.
The agreement was reached in Moscow during a meeting of Belnaftakhim head Ihar Zhylin and Hrodna Azot Director General Kanstantsin Mayanaw with Alexander Ivannikov, first deputy head of Gazprom's Department for Finance and Economics, and Aleksandr Fedorusenko, first deputy director general of Gazprom Investproyekt, the press office said.
According to the press office, the sides agreed to develop an action plan for the implementation of the investment project.
A working group is to be formed from representatives of Belnaftakhim and Gazprom, the press office said. //BelaPAN
