Latvia to provide vaccine against classical swine fever to Belarus
The Council of Ministers has approved a draft agreement with Latvia whereby the European Union country is to provide a vaccine against classical swine fever to Belarus.
The vaccine is expected to be used for immunizing wild boars against the highly contagious viral disease this year.
Classical swine fever is a disease that affects hogs and wild boars. Belarus is battling the spread of African swine fever, which is a different disease. //BelaPAN
