KGB arrests founders, director of construction company
The Committee for State Security (KGB) has arrested the founders and the director of construction company AAT Antasam for allegedly misusing money received as payment for apartments in residential buildings.
According to the KGB press office, the director misused money that the company received between May 2009 and this August for apartments in a housing estate in Frunzenski district in Minsk.
KGB officers seized some 18 kilograms of ingot gold in the suspects' homes and the offices of companies controlled by them.
The businesspeople are facing a charge of abuse of office under Article 210 of the Criminal Code. //BelaPAN
