Two people killed, three others severely injured as BMW crashes into iron fence in Mazyr
Two people were killed and three others were seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred in Mazyr, Homyel region, early on Thursday.
According to the Homyel regional traffic police department, the driver of a BMW car lost control of his vehicle and crashed into an iron fence on Savetskaya Street at about 5 a.m. The car then flew into a nearby building and then back into the fence.
Two passengers, a man and a woman, died on the spot. Two other passengers and the driver were hospitalized with severe injuries.
All the five people were local residents.
The driver is believed to have been speeding. //BelaPAN
