IMF mission to visit Minsk
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) staff team, led by David Hofman, will stay in Minsk between October 17 and October 28 to conduct the fifth Post-Program Monitoring review of the Belarusian economy, following the Stand-By Arrangement with the IMF that expired at the end of March 2010.
“The staff team will prepare a report that will be discussed by the IMF Executive Board,” reported the IMF office in Minsk. “As with previous such missions, the visit provides an opportunity to discuss macroeconomic policies and prospects for the Belarusian economy with the authorities.” //BelaPAN
