Biathlon Youth and Junior World Championships draw to close near Minsk
The Biathlon Youth and Junior World Championships drew to a close in Belarus on Tuesday with two relay races in the under-21 category.
France won the women's relay and Russia won the gold in the men's race. The Belarusian team finished ninth and fifth, respectively.
The championships took place at the newly renovated Rawbichy winter sports center some 15 kilometers north of Minsk.
Russia topped the overall medal standings with five gold, four silver and three bronze medals, followed by France and Norway. Belarus ranked fifth with two gold medals, both won in the under-19 category. // BelaPAN
